Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti Super logo leaks, showing gray future

The RTX 4000 Super series graphics card logo has been revealed, with a grey rectangle housing the Super wording next to the rest of the name.

The latest Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti Super leak is in, with the new reveal being of the logo that will adorn the upcoming range of Nvidia RTX 4000 Super graphics cards. It shows the SUPER branding will be all upper case and that it will variously use black writing in a gray rectangle or green writing in a black rectangle.

The rather mundane new Nvidia GPU branding brings a humdrum look to what in all likelihood will otherwise prove to be best graphics card contenders. Plus, in the case of the RTX 4070 Ti Super, it further confirms that we will indeed be seeing the use of this rather long, cumbersome graphics card name.

Twitter/X is once again the source of this latest leak, with regular graphics card news leaker @MEGAsizeGPU revealing the new branding. As well as claiming the branding image “is real”, they also suggest “the new super logo and color are kinda ugly”. We’re not inclined to disagree, though at least the SUPER branding is made to stand out reasonably well from the rest of the product name, making the “slightly upgraded” status of the SUPER name nice and clear.

The Nvidia RTX 4000 Super range of cards is expected to include upgrade versions of the RTX 4080, RTX 4070 Ti, and RTX 4070, with them each sporting in the region of 5-10% upticks in CUDA core counts along with increased VRAM allocations. This will make the RTX 4080 Super, RTX 4070 Ti Super, and RTX 4070 Super only modest upgrades over their previous counterparts but could still see them become top-tier choices if Nvidia adjusts its prices to the right level.

Currently, the RTX 4080, for instance, doesn’t have a place on our best graphics card list because it simply doesn’t offer good value relative to other cards around it, such as the AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX. A Super upgrade and price adjustment could easily change that though.
