If you like to parade all the RGB lighting and fine-looking components in your rig for all to see, then the new Lian Li 011 Vision dual chamber case looks set to be your friend. This new chassis takes the already popular design of the Lian Li 011D, but gives it another tempered glass panel on the roof, and removes the column strip on the left of the front panel, providing an unobstructed view of all your PC’s innards – you’d better make sure your cables are tidy.
The new case is the result of a collaboration between Lian Li and PC Master Race, and is available in both black and white color options, with the former using tinted glass, and the latter having clear glass. Unlike the NZXT H6 Flow RGB, which is our favorite dual-chamber case on our best PC case guide, the 011 Vision has a new 3mm tempered glass panel in the roof, giving you a view from the top down.
Meanwhile, the front and side panels are made from 4mm tempered glass, and there’s also no metal column at their meeting point on the corner, so you can see straight through the case from the front, side, or top. Lian Li has taken this seamless glass approach to some of its other dual chamber acase as well, including the Lian Li 011 D Evo XL.
While having a glass panel in the roof means you can’t install a top-mounted radiator here, there’s plenty of room for radiators elsewhere in the case. Lian Li points to three spaces for radiators – you can squeeze a 360mm radiator in the bottom and at the front (mounted to the motherboard tray), and there’s also room for a 240mm radiator in the back.
As with most dual-chamber case designs, tidy cable management is also made easier by locating the PSU mount behind the motherboard tray, along with the drive bays, with room for two 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch drives in a tray, and a further three 2.5-inch SSDs on the cable management bar.
You also have the option to put the motherboard in two positions. That doesn’t mean you can have a flipped motherboard layout, but you can mount the motherboard in either a high or low location, depending on your radiator and cable routing requirements.

Dual-chamber cases, sometimes called aquarium or fishtank cases, are currently very popular among PC builders who want to show off their wares. We regularly see the Lian Li 011D used as the foundation for the outstanding machines in our best PC builds guide.
