This Bladerunner 2049 gaming PC is full of Joi

Taking inspiration from th epic Denis Villeneuve follow up to the Ridley Scott and Harrison Ford 80s sci-fi masterpiece, this gaming PC has a lush color scheme.

Thanks to the wizardry of cinematographer Roger Deakins and Director Denis Villeneuve, Bladerunner 2049 is a film packed with iconic imagery, but few moments live longer in the mind than Ryan Gosling‘s ‘K’ benig gazed down upon by a giant hologram of his lost love, Joi. It’s just this moment that Custom PC and Gaming Setup Facebook group member Juan Lubbe chose as the theme for his Bladerunner 2049 gaming PC build.

Using a screenshot of that image as a desktop wallpaper, the PC then links in with the same blue and pink color scheme via the RGB lighting of its keyboard, fans, memory, and more. It’s such a simple idea but so effective, especially when done with a case that exposes so much lighting as the Phanteks NV7.

This style of case is ever more popular thanks to its twin glass panels that meet at the corner, giving an uninterrupted view of your PC’s internals. That view is used to full effect here with a full complement of 12 RGB fans surrounding the entire inside of the case – it’s quite the light show.

Despite all this lighting and the ability for this case to accommodate several massive radiators, Juan’s build doesn’t use any custom water cooling but instead uses a 360mm AIO CPU cooler – the Corsair H150i Elite – and a graphics card with a conventional air cooler – a Gigabyte Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 Gaming OC.

These parts are joined by an Asus ROG Strix Z690 motherboard, Intel Core i9-12900K CPU, and a 1000W Asus ROG Strix power supply. The monitor is a Dell G3223Q 32-inch, 4K, 144Hz panel.

What did you make of Bladerunner 2049 – a worthy sequel? But moreover, what are your thoughts on this simple color-matched Bladerummer 2049 PC?
