The Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 price is finally coming down to a more sensible level, with this high-end gaming GPU now going for under a grand for the first time. Thanks to a discount code, you can now pick up an MSI Ventus RTX 4080 graphics card for the magic price of just $999.

Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 offer

If you want to take advantage of this GeForce RTX 4080 offer click the link below, and you’ll be taken to the New Egg page for the MSI card, which will list the price as $1,099.99 – don’t worry, though. You just need to use the discount code FTTPCU5374 and you’ll get another $100 off the price, bringing it down to just $999.99.

The GeForce RTX 4080 is a fantastic gaming GPU, and in our testing we found it offered superb gaming frame rates at 2,560 x 1,440 and 4K resolutions. It’s based on the Nvidia Ada architecture, which brings support for Nvidia’s latest DLSS 3 AI frame generation tech. This enables the GPU to average a superb 104fps frame rate in Cyberpunk 2077 at 4K with the ultra ray tracing preset. For more detail, make sure you check out our full GeForce RTX 4080 review.

However, the RTX 4080 was extremely overpriced at $1,199 when it launched, being only bit cheaper than the flagship GeForce RTX 4090, and significantly more expensive than the GeForce RTX 3080 at launch. At $999, it’s still expensive, but that’s certainly a much more palatable price, and the performance is fantastic.

Hopefully we’ll see more price drops across Nvidia’s Ada range of GPUs in the future. If you’re planning to buy a graphics card, make sure you also read our guide to the best graphics card, where we run you through all the best options at a range of prices.
