Is this the most organized gaming PC setup you’ve ever seen

Ikea Skadis pegboards with custom 3D printed holders for headsets, game controllers and more dominate this highly organised gaming PC space.

The Ikea Skadis pegboard has become a mainstay of tidy gaming PC setups thanks to its clean lines and low cost. With just a couple of screws to affix each pegboard to your wall you can then quickly and easily set up a highly organized space that has a place for everything and everything in its place.

For most of us, a handful of hooks and trays is enough to alleviate the worst of our desk clutter but for Custom PC and Gaming Setup Facebook group member Sajid Khan, that wasn’t enough. Instead, he’s adorned his Ikea Skadis gaming PC setup with a host of 3D-printed custom holders for all his gear.

There are game controller holders, headset holders, phone holders, pen holders, watch holders, VR headset holders, and more. And all that is just what’s on the wall. Sajid also has his laptop and Mac mini in neat holders on his desk alongside yet another watch holder – this time with built-in charging.

What’s perhaps most amazing about this lavish setup is that tucked away in a corner there’s a seriously high-end driving sim rig as well. We guess you have to be this organized to fit so much in such a small space!

Enabling all that 3D printing, Sajid has an Ankermake 3D printer (snap! – Ed) meanwhile ensuring all that time spent waiting for prints to finish doesn’t result in a bad back is a Herman Miller Embody chair.

Finishing the whole lot off is Sajid’s PC build, which is housed in the beautiful Fractal Design North case – an ideal match for the clean lines of the rest of his setup. So well designed is this case that it even looks the part with the side panel just simply removed showing off the high-end system that sits inside. There’s an Asus ROG Maximus Z790 Hero motherboard, Intel Core i9-13900K CPU, MSI GeForce RTX 4090 Suprim X 24G graphics card, and much more besides.

Clearly, no expense has been spared on this setup but you don’t have to splash quite so much cash to have a similarly neat and tidy setup. The Skadis boards are very cheap and, as mentioned, you can get away with using the standard Ikea holders for most items. Moreover, 3D printers are getting ever cheaper so for just making small items like these holders you don’t have to break the bank.
