The ASRock Phantom Gaming Z790 Nova Wifi motherboard is now available. Boasting six M.2 NVMe slots, Intel 14th gen optimization, an M.2 heatsink, and WiFi 7 compatibility, ASRock’s latest Z790 motherboard is a standard ATX Intel Z790 chipset motherboard aimed squarely at the enthusiast market.
The headline for this new ASRock motherboard is its enormous storage capacity. With an impressive six NVMe M.2 slots, the Z790 Nova has room for all the best gaming SSDs, and can accommodate a single PCIe Express 5.0 standard, providing rapid transfer speeds of up to 128Gb/s.
This may be overkill for many people, but will suit those of us with a large library of games who want to play them at the drop of a hat. Unlike other products, SSDs often get more expensive per GB as storage increases, so the added slots could save you money by providing the option of installing multiple smaller drives rather than a single large one.
As well as its large storage capacity, the Z790 Nova provides support for heavier graphics cards with a sturdy, metal backplate to prevent untoward bending. This new motherboard is available in US markets from Newegg for $299.99.
