New APNX C1 PC case takes mesh panels to the next level

The new case brand from the same group that makes Kolink, Endgame Gear, Noblechairs, and Nitro Concepts has a removable mesh corner panel for peak ventilation.

APNX C1

There’s a new case brand in town, with the launch of APNX, a new addition to the Pro Gamersware group that also includes Endgame Gear peripherals, Kolink cases, Noblechairs… chairs, and Nitro Concepts chairs. The brand’s first case, the APNX C1 isn’t just a same old, same old design with a new sticker on it, though. There’s some genuine innovation here.

What could make the APNX C1 a best PC case contender is its mesh corner panel. This fully perforated panel covers the entire front of the case and stretches around the right-hand side as well. This allows for loads of ventilation to be available for the three front-mounted fans and any radiators or fans mounted in front of the motherboard tray.

Otherwise, the overall layout of the ATX case is fairly conventional, with none of the dual-chamber fanciness of the likes of Lian Li O11D. However, what the case lacks in layout ludicrousness, it makes up for in style.

This is a great-looking case, at least based on the pictures the company has provided – we’ve not seen the case in person yet. The rounded corners of the front panel soften the case’s lines while the way the panel is perforated entirely aside from a single border area just makes for an ultra-clean look. Likewise the glass side panel is not disrupted by external screws or any other interruptions.

Other features of the case include:

  • 8mm chassis thickness made of SGCC and SECC steel
  • I/O panel ports: 2x USB 3.0 type-A, 1x USB 3.0 type-C, and a 3.5mm audio jack
  • Two removable dust filters – one behind the front panel, and the other under the case
  • Rubber grommets and velcro straps for cable management
  • GPU Card Kit provides a card holder and riser cable (sold separately)

Out of the box, the APNX C1 will include four APNX F1 fans, which are 30mm thick as opposed to the usual 25mm thick. APNX claims this thickness allows for wider fan blades for more efficient performance. Meanwhile, the total fan placement count is 11, so there’s plenty of room to bolster that cooling.

The APNX C1 price is $139 / £139.98 for the black or white versions while the blue/purple ChromaFlare version costs $159 / £167, with the cases available to purchase now.
