It’s unclear how long this AMD Ryzen 7800X3D CPU deal will last, but if you’re shopping around planning your next build, you’d be silly to miss out on it.
This 16-thread AMD processor has claimed the top spot on our best gaming CPU list for a while now. It’s the fastest on the market and we have receipts to prove it. In Anthony Leather’s AMD Ryzen 7800X3D review, the CPU consistently came out on top against its competitors in games like Forza Horizon 5, Far Cry 6, and Watch Dogs: Legion.
It’s also a very efficient processor. Sucking less than 200W from the wall at load, the Ryzen 7800X3D’s power draw is much better than the likes of the Intel Core i9-13900K, the Ryzen 7 7700X, and the Intel Core i7-13700K.
While the chip certainly has its drawbacks in the multitasking department, it’s clear the 7800X3D is a fantastic processor. And with an 18% saving, there’s never been a better time to pick one up. We have been expecting some AMD CPU price drops following the launch of the Intel 14th gen lineup, but we wouldn’t expect this much of a discount to be permanent.
