The rumour mill is continuing to spin with reports about Nvidia’s reportedly forthcoming SUPER RTX GPUs. Tech website VideoCardz even claims to have had confirmation about them from Nvidia of a 2 July launch date, but we haven’t seen that ourselves.

The cards in line to be announced are the RTX 2080 SUPER, the RTX 2070 SUPER and the RTX 2060 SUPER. According to the site, there’s a review embargo date of 2 July for the RTX 2070 and 2060 SUPER versions, with the RTX 2080 flavour still unknown.

The rumoured specs for the new cards are beefy, including 8GB of GDDR6 RAM on the RTX 2060 version. The RTX 2080 SUPER is said to be using a TU104-450 GPU with 3,072 stream processors and a 16GHz (effective) memory speed. Meanwhile, the RTX 2070 SUPER apparently uses a TU104-410 GPU with 2,560 stream processors, and the RTX 2060 SUPER uses a TU106-410 GPU with 2,176 stream processors.
