The Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 Ti may never see the light of day as a working graphics card, but parts of its supposed chassis continue to find their way out into the wild. Now, yet more bits of the flagship that never was have found their way on to eBay, giving you the chance to own one if you’re quick enough.
Back in June 2023, an alleged GeForce RTX 4090 Ti quad-slot cooler emerged on Twitter, seemingly escaping from the Nvidia labs. Since then, however, any sign of the graphics card has seemingly dried up. That is, of course, until now.
Over on eBay, a listing titled ‘1Pcs For NVIDIA RTX4090Ti,RTX 4090Ti,RTX4090 I/O Shield BackPlate Blende Bracket’ is offering units of the I/O shield first seen on the aforementioned cooler. The seller, acns1698, is based in China and appears to specialize in this particular type of component.
You’ll need to part with at least $24.80 to own a potential piece of the GeForce flagship, plus whatever shipping and customs fees you may encounter. While it’s impossible to completely verify the legitimacy of these parts without input from Nvidia, this does at least appear to be a fun curiosity for would-be collectors. It’s also the closest any of us will likely get to the pixel pusher, given the RTX 4090 Ti is supposedly cancelled. Act fast, though, as stock is, understandably, limited.
In the meantime, the GeForce RTX 4090 remains the most powerful graphics card you’ll be able to buy for the foreseeable future. However, the heavily rumored GeForce RTX 4080 Super could prove to be the better value purchase.
