Although we’ll be waiting we’ll be waiting until around mid-August for Radeon 5700-series graphics cards with custom coolers, EK has announced that it will be releasing its Vector water-cooling blocks for Navi GPUs much sooner.
The two new EK-Vector waterblocks are compatible with the reference-pattern RX 5700 and 5700 XT graphics cards. The waterblocks ensure that liquid is pumped over the GPU, memory and the voltage regulator modules.
The Vectors cover the whole card, and there are illumination options, so you can have either a low-key, sleek look or a fully lit-up, but still actually pretty sleek, look. The options are nickel with either transparent Plexiglas or black Acetal. There will also be an optional backplate, either nickel or black, sold separately.
The Vector waterblocks are available to pre-order now, with an expected shipping date of 26 July. The MSRP for the nickel and Plexi version is £116, with the black version costing £112, Meanwhile, the backplates cost £30 for the nickel version and £24 for the black one.
