Corsair releases the iCUE 220T RGB Airflow Smart case

Armed with the Lighting Node CORE and a tempered glass panel, the Corsair iCUE 220T gaming PC case is going all in on illuminating your setup.

PC gaming case with three LED fans

Corsair has announced their new iCUE 220T RGB Airflow Smart Cases and accompanying iCUE RGB PRO fans. iCUE is Corsair’s lighting software for RGB setups so what we’re looking at here are midi-tower cases that go big on controllable lighting and equally illuminated fans.

The iCUE SP RBG PRO fans are available in either 120mm or 140mm sizes and carry eight individually addressable RGB LEDs so you can have whatever colour pattern you like.

Three of these fans feature in the iCUE 220T RGB Airflow and are connected to a built in Lighting Node CORE, which is the RGB control hub for Corsair iCUE lights. This Lighting Node CORE can act as the control for up to six RGB case fans, as well as other compatible lighting on devices such as RAM, CPU cooling, even mice and keyboards.

The initial three fans supplied with the 220T RGB Airflow are mounted in the front behind a steel screen but there is space for three more. Alternatively you could mount 4x 140mm fans or a 360mm radiator.

The side panel is tempered glass because if you’re going to make your PCs guts light up like a tank of bioluminescent fish you want to be able to see what’s going on. That said there is a PSU cover to keep it and its cables out of the way, which is fair enough as they tend to be pretty dour to look at. There are also dust filters where the fans can be situated to help keep everything clean.

Notably the T220T RGB Airflow is available in both black and white versions. Prices are as yet unavailable.
