Combing high performance with a low profile, ARCTIC's new line of AIO CPU coolers are meant to be seen and not heard when cooling your system down.

ARCTIC has launched its new line of all-in-one CPU coolers, the Freezer 2 series. This second generation of the Freezer series is designed for compatibility with both AMD AM4 and Intel 115X, 2011-3 and 2066 sockets, combining a low profile unobtrusive design with the sort of high performance that you would expect from an AOI cooling system.

The pump is mounted to a copper cold plate and a 40mm PWM controlled fan designed to provide cooling to the VRM near the CPU. The pump is also PWM controlled and has an RPM of 800-2000.

The variations in the Freezer 2 series come mostly in terms of the radiator. You have options from 120mm to 360mm compatible with the usual case mountings you might find in a midi-tower case or alternatively there is a 280mm version, which installs into cases where you might otherwise have two 140mm fans. Fans on the radiators are also PWM controlled, and the speeds vary from 200-1800RPM as needed. Fluid dynamic bearings in the fans also help to keep the noise down.

Visually the Freezer 2 fits comfortably into the unseen and unheard style of component, no lights, emphasis on quiet fans, monochrome colour scheme. Ideal if you’re keeping it classy or if you’re planning to shut it all inside an opaque case and never look at it again.

The ARCTIC Freezer 2 series is partially available now starting at £49.99 for the 120mm version, with the 360mm version available at the end of the month.
