AOC has unveiled two new curved ultra-wide 34in monitors in the G2 series. The two new monitors are both ultra-wide quad-HD, which gives them a resolution of 3440×1440 with an aspect ratio of 21:9. Both of the new monitors also sport a 1500R curvature, which at their ideal viewing distance of approximately 1.5m provides an image that stretches to the peripheral vision of the viewer for a more immersive experience.
The difference between the two monitors, the AOC CU34G2 and the AOC CU34G2X is in the refresh rates, which are 100MHz and 144MHz respectively. They both have a 1ms response time, VA panels and support for AMD freesync. They also feature AOC Game Color for better grey levels and Dial Point for an option central crosshairs.
Both of the CU34G2 and CU34G2X are available in January with an RRP of £399 and £499 respectively.
