Alphacool has announced their new Eisblock Aurora GPX range of water cooling blocks for graphics cards are now available for pre-order. The range so far includes waterblocks for the Geforce RTX 2080TI Strix variant, the Aorus Extreme 2080 and 2080TI, the Founder’s Edition RTX 2080/2080TI and for the Radeon RX 5700 and 5700XT reference design.
Though the designs of the Eisblock Aurora GPX line vary in order to fit the different models of graphics card they all share several features in common. Firstly they are all fitted with addressable digital RGB lighting arrangements along the entire length so they can fit in with whatever lighting scheme you’ve set up inside your casing.
Secondly the waterblocks have a lower profile and are more efficient than earlier model Eisblock coolers. This is achieved by using flatter screws that sit flush to the surface of the cooler and a reduced thickness of the cooler base from 7mm to 5.5mm.
For now the waterblocks are available from the Alphacool website with prices starting at around €110 depending upon the cooler, with dispatch expected in around two weeks.
