ADATA has launched its new Hunter XPG line of DDR4 memory. The Hunter XPG memory is compatible with XMP 2.0 to make overclocking easier, with compatible systems able to overclock the memory from the operating system rather than from the BIOS. The new RAM comes in SO-DIMM and U-DIMM versions so that it can work with desktop PCs or notebooks.
One notable step up with the latest Hunter XPG line is that the capacities and speeds have been increased. The fastest available in the range is now hitting 3200MHz, which isn’t pushing the fastest speed we’ve ever seen on production RAM, but it’s still rapid. The new DIMMs are also available in larger sizes than before, the range now going from 4GB to 32GB.
